Harmony Energy has finalized the sale of its 200 MW / 400 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project to EDF Renewables Polska, a subsidiary of EDF Group. This marks a major step in Harmony Energy's expansion within Poland's energy market, with the proceeds set to fuel future BESS developments.

March 6, 2025: Greenvolt Power and BYD Energy Storage have agreed plans to develop up to 1.6 GWh of BESS projects in Poland.
The capacity obligations for these projects ranged from 1.2 MW to 153 MW rated power, with an average capacity of around 30 MW. The decision to reduce the de-rating factor for energy storage systems in the last capacity market auction in Poland from 95 percent to 61 percent did not prove detrimental to the market.
